Blob Wars : Attrition - C Port

I had planned this year to make a start on a new epic fantasy novel. However, I'm finding the inspiration hard to come by at the moment. So, I decided to take a break from writing for a bit, and take a look at what I could work on while waiting for the muse to strike again. I saw some comments on an gaming forum about a port of Metal Blob Solid and how the players would like a port of Attrition. The posters lamented that Attrition was only available on Android, and so I thought that perhaps was now the time to start a C port.

The code is currently very much work-in-progress (this isn't even v0.1 and does nothing other than open a window..!). However, I'm sure after a few months the basic game (or at least one level) will be playable. You can find the C code here:

As with The Pandoran War, it is being ported in pure C, using SDL2 for the graphics, audio, and input handling. One caveat, however, is that the resources will not be uploaded alongside it. These will be made available to purchase (for the modest sum of £1 / $2 / €1) when the code port is complete. More details will be made available closer to the time.
